Turf Care & Management

Turf ManagementTurf Team is dedicated to producing the thickest, greenest, and healthiest lawns in the Middle Tennessee area. We understand our soils, grass types, and weather conditions. We continually research the latest products and techniques, utilizing only the best and safest for our programs. One of the most important steps of our turf care is aeration and overseeding. Our aeration and overseeding provides relief of soil compaction associated with normal lawn care practices and heat stress while increasing seed germination by maximizing seed to soil contact and applying a premium starter fertilizer.

Six Steps to a Healthy Turf

Round1: CONTROL (February) This application consists of a balanced fertilizer, post emergent broadleaf control along with crabgrass and other grassy weed prevention.
Round 2: FEED (March/April) This application provides your lawn with essential nutrients, while providing broadleaf weed control along with crabgrass and other annual grassy weed prevention.
Round 3: APPLY (May/June/July) This application provides your turf with essential nutrients and also controls weeds and turf damaging, surface feeding insects.
Round 4: CLEAN (August) Combating the stress of the summer season, this application provides your lawn with essential nutrients while controlling weeds and turf damaging, surface feeding insects.
Round 5: FERTILIZER (September/October) THIS IS THE BEST TIME OF YEAR FOR AERATION/OVER SEEDING—This application of fall fertilizer will help the grass recover from summer stress and provide nutrients for newly germinated seed.
Round 6: Finale (November/December) This last application of the season will provide weed control for broadleaf and winter annual weeds that may emerge after aeration.

Tree, Shrub & Flower Care

Our 5 round fertilization and pest control program is expertly formulated to protect your landscape ornamentals from plant damaging insects, weeds and diseases while maintaining color and vigor throughout the growing season.

The Five Steps to Tree, Shrub and Flower Care

Round 1 (Early Spring) This application provides systemic early stage insect and disease control as well as a balanced fertilizer promoting an even spring leaf flush and larger more vibrant flower blooms.
Round 2 (Spring) As the weather warms insects and disease become more prevalent. This application provides nutrients to your plants while protecting against the diseases and insects which are emerging at this time.
Round 3 (Late Spring/Early Summer) This application provides essential nutrients while shielding against plant damaging insects and diseases which are very aggressive at this time, helping to maintain color and vigor through this stressful time of year.
Round 4 (Late Summer) This application shields your plants against egg laying insects while continuing to protect against disease as well as providing the necessary nutrients to help your landscape ornamentals recover from the stressful summer months.
Round 5 (Fall/Winter) This application continues to provide protection against egg laying, plant damaging insects while providing a balanced fertilizer, helping with nutrient storage through the winter months.
